About this product
A body protector adds an important layer of protection, particularly for jumping, cross-country and young or less experienced riders. This flexible design uses impact-absorbing foam that warms to body temperature and moulds to your shape for a close fit.
Adjustment at the shoulders, chest and waist lets you fine-tune the fit over a base layer. As with helmets, correct fitting is essential, a body protector must fit closely without restricting movement, and professional fitting is strongly recommended.
Safety information. Body protectors are certified to recognised standards and graded by level of protection, in the UK, BETA 2018 Level 1, 2 or 3 is widely used, with Level 3 recommended for general riding. Check the level marked on the product and choose the one appropriate to your riding. A body protector must be correctly fitted and replaced if it suffers a significant impact or no longer fits closely.
